  1. 3/4 cup Sun Flour Mills Pastry Flour
  2. 1/2 tsp xanthan gum
  3. 1/4 tsp salt
  4. 1/3 cup dairy free margarine or butter
  5. 1 tsp corn syrup, agave nectar, or honey
  6. 7-9 tsp ice cold water
  1. In a large bowl whisk together SFM Pastry Flour, xanthan gum, and salt
  2. Cut in dairy free butter.
  3. Dough will resemble coarse crumbs
  4. Stir in corn syrup agave nectar or honey and the ice cold water 1 tsp at a time until the dough forms a ball
  5. Spray 2 large sheets of aluminum foil with non-stick spray
  6. Roll the dough between the 2 sheets of foil to 1/3 inch thickness
  7. Refrigerate for at least 1 hr
  8. Peel off the top sheet of foil and invert rolled dough into an 8-9 inch pie plate.
  9. Peel off the other sheet of foil
  10. Prick with a fork in several areas
  11. Bake at 350 degrees for 16-18 minutes, or until golden brown
  1. Yields 1 large pie crust
