Mini Pizza Waffles

Cook Time 2 minutes
Rising Time 40 minutes
Total Time 45 minutes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 box Sun Flour Mills Pizza & French Bread Mix
  • 1 packet yeast (included)
  • 1 ⅔ cups warm water
  • 4 egg whites (egg free - omit eggs and add ⅓ cups warm water)
  • 1 TBSP vinegar
  • 2 TBSP oil

Pizza Toppings of Choice

  • 2 cups mozzerella
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni
  • ½ cup sliced black olives
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp oregano

Instructions
 

  • PREPARE mix as directed on the box.
  • RISE in a warm place for 30-40 minutes.
  • FOLD in pizza toppings, carefully.
  • PREHEAT mini waffle iron and spray with non-stick spray.
  • SCOOP approximately ¼ cup of mix and cook until crispy and golden (about 2 minutes).
  • REMOVE carefully and keep warm (best served fresh).°

Notes

Optional Ideas:
  • Dip mini waffles in pizza sauce.
  • Make full-sized waffles.
  • Add extra toppings on top and bake them in the oven at 350 degrees until warm/melted.
